George Warner

George practices in the area of creditors' rights in the nonbankruptcy context for local, regional, and national clients.  George's experience includes counseling clients on drafting leases, commercial contracts and related documents, the prosecution of debt instruments, the enforcement of statutory and contractual lien rights and security interests, actions on guaranty contracts, foreclosure actions, and problem loan/debt workouts. 

He regularly provides representation to financial institutions, equipment leasing companies and other creditors doing business with distressed companies, and has extensive experience in state and federal litigation involving business and real property matters.  George is a frequent lecturer at Continuing Legal Education programs and served as an Adjunct Professor at William Mitchell College of Law from 1997 to 2001.

Outside of work and family, George can often be found "on the mat" practicing at the neighborhood yoga studio or working toward his second-degree black belt at the Twin Cities Aikido Center.
