Career Highlights
Jessica's practice focuses on employment and labor law and litigation. She provides strategic advice regarding the establishment of employment policies and procedures. She counsels clients on the creation, maintenance and termination of employment relationships. When an employment relationship must be severed, she assists clients in understanding their rights and obligations with respect to issues such as severance, human rights, state and federal statutes, and non-competition agreements.
When disputes arise, Jessica works to find a practical, cost-effective solution for her clients. If matters cannot be resolved, she is highly experienced in representing clients in federal or state courts. Jessica is also a certified mediator and arbitrator for resolutions outside the court system. Jessica speaks extensively on employment law and litigation topics and leads monthly seminars on employment-related issues.
Away from work, Jessica enjoys running, crossword puzzles, and spending time with her children. Someday she hopes to open up a bookstore with her collection of over 22,000 used books.
